Infrared cabin

In the Thermal Baths BUKOVINA you will find also an Infrared cabin of a very pleasant climate, having a blissful influence on your frame of mind. The IR rays stimulate the metabolism, immune system and circulation too.

You may stay in the IR cabin for 30 minutes, for the temperature here is up to 60C.
This special form of rehabilitation takes advantage of the IR energy, warming the body directly. Only 20% of the energy goes to the air, and as much as 80% penetrates the body, turning into heat and warms the body from the inside up.
The warmth will go 4,5 cm deep inside the skin, and the quicker blood circulation will warm the whole body up immediately. And last but not least, some good news for you! One session is the IR cabin will burn as many as 900 calories! You would have to run 10 km otherwise!

What are the advantages of the IR cabin?
  • You will alleviate various pains – back pains caused by stress, fatigue, rheumatism, degenerations and pains of inflammatory, ischaemia origin, and neural pains.
  • You will alleviate pains caused by an intensive effort, injuries and damage to the soft tissues, rheumatic diseases or sciatica, you will also reduce the tissue stiffness.

How to use the IR cabin?
  1. Before entering the sauna, cleanse your body under the shower.
  2. Wipe yourself dry.
  3. Enter the sauna naked, wearing only your towel.
  4. Sit and lay down on the towel (your body is not supposed to touch the boards).
  5. Stay as long as you wish and as you feel but preferably for about 10 -25 minutes (depending on your sauna experience as well.
  6. After having left the sauna, cool your body down, starting from the feet and heading towards the heart.*
  7. Afterward, have some rest on the couch (twice the time you spend on warming the body up or longer).
  8. You may repeat the cycle thrice. *

ATTENTION!!! After an IR session, do not use intensive cooling forms such a pool or cool shower.
